Estados Unidos ante la equidad de género en la arena internacional

Vergonzosa la falta de compromiso de los Estados Unidos.
You mentioned that International Women’s Day started in Copenhagen, it actually started right here in New York City, it was a group of –prior to 1910- it was a group of activist women liberals in New York City who were challenging the fact that women in sweat shops used to be locked up in those sweat shops and because the Socialist movement met that workers struggle and, of course, United States essentially shut down any recognition of its own history… most Americans have not idea of what International Women’s day is although I grew up in India celebrating and singing songs in praise of the brave women workers in New York.
